Theology 101: The Church

In this series, Pastor Jackson will explore the various doctrines of the Christian faith and how they relate to our lives. This class discusses our understanding the nature of the invisible and visible church.

Discussion Questions:

1. What do the 4 marks of the Church have to teach us about the Church’s nature and purpose?

2. What are the purposes of denominations in the visible church? Are they completely bad, or are they helpful? What are some of the benefits and dangers of having church denominations?

3. Think to our “theological triage,” what aspects of our ecclesiology are essential and what are flexible?
