First Baptist Church of Hypoluxo Reopening Guidelines
Sunday – June 7, 2020
First In-person Gathering
Always maintain social distancing when entering and exiting the building
Anyone attending not living in the same household must sit 6 feet apart
Bulletins will not be distributed, please pick up a bulletin in the foyer
Always maintain social distancing in the sanctuary, every other pew will be blocked off
Offering plates will not be passed, offerings can be received online, by mail, or by dropping the offering in the receptacle placed in the foyer
There will be no greeting time- no handshaking or hugs
We recommend that our older members or those with ongoing medical issues or anyone that has a concern remain sheltered in place and worship through our live Zoom broadcast (see new "Zoom Meeting ID" below that begins on June 7)
Feel free to wear a mask during the worship service
Breakfast will not be available on June 7, we will wait at least until June 14 to resume breakfast. When breakfast resumes, it will be served cafeteria style and all social distancing guidelines above will be applied
There will be no nursery available, children must stay with parents
There will be no children’s Sunday School or children’s worship until further notice, children must stay with parents
Faith Tyson’s Sunday School class will reopen beginning June 7 (9:45AM) , but all social distancing guidelines above are applicable
The Wednesday Night Prayer and Bible Study will reopen on June 10 at 6:00PM, but we will not have dinner together on June 10. Instead, we will wait at least until June 17 to resume the dinner. When the dinner resumes, all social distancing guidelines above will be applied. We recommend that our older members or those with ongoing medical issues or anyone that has a concern remain sheltered in place and join the Wednesday night meetings through our live Zoom broadcast (see new"Zoom Meeting ID" below that begins on June 7)
Starting on June 7, 2020, for those who cannot join us for in-person worship but want to worship with us through our live Zoom broadcast, we will have a NEW Zoom Meeting ID: 884 053 0450
*We will use the old Zoom Meeting ID (890 693 9417) for tomorrow's May 31 worship and for the June 3 Wednesday Night Prayer and Bible Study. We will begin using the new Zoom Meeting ID (884 053 0450) on June 7 and any subsequent services or meetings for those who cannot join us in-person.
